Matthew Kubitz has been with Radix since 2018, starting as a Pro Assistant and working his way up to faculty. He began his journey as a sub-assistant to Tessandra Chavez for multiple seasons, eventually becoming her full-time assistant for two years, while also assisting the entire faculty as a Pro Assistant. Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Matthew trained in all styles and was part of Tessandra’s apprentice company, Unity Dance Ensemble. He continued his education at Chapman University, earning a BFA in Dance. Matthew has an extensive career in the commercial dance industry, with credits including Euphoria (HBO), Mean Girls, Family Leave (Netflix), and a 1st runner-up finish on World of Dance Season 3 with Unity LA.
