Entry Limits

COMPETITION ENTRY LIMITS - SAN JOSE

• There is no limit to the number of routines a STUDIO may enter in the competition unless otherwise noted based on event capacity and/or city-specific entry limits.
• All competition routines must be registered under a studio name. RADIX does not accept “Independent” soloists, duo/trios, or group routines. All competing dancers must be actively taking regular in-person classes at a dance studio and must register under that studio’s name with the studio’s permission.
• Soloists are not required to participate in a group routine.
• Dancers attending RADIX with a studio may not register a solo separately or individually. All solos must be included as part of the studio’s registration and must follow all applicable entry limits.
• Soloists are limited to ONE solo per dancer.
• If a soloist receives a 1st Place award at one RADIX city, they are not eligible to compete a solo, including a different solo, at another RADIX city for the remainder of the season.
• Entry limits are subject to change based on event capacity and city-specific needs.
• Many RADIX cities reach capacity before the published registration deadline. To help us plan each event more efficiently and provide competition opportunities to as many dancers as possible, a $50 deposit per routine is required at the time of registration.
• Routine deposits are non-refundable and may not be transferred to another city or event. For studio registrations, if a routine is removed before the 30-day deadline, the deposit may be applied toward the studio’s remaining balance for that city/event only.
• This policy helps RADIX better manage event capacity, create accurate competition schedules, and reduce last-minute cancellations that may prevent other dancers and studios from participating.
